    Rosalind or Rosamund?

I love both, but obviously couldn't use both of them. Which do you prefer {and why, if you can}?

Also: How do you pronounce Rosamund? I've been pronouncing it as ROSE-uh-mund, but I've heard that it's meant to be pronounced ROZ-uh-mund?

Rosalind is one of my faves. I dislike Roz, but I love Lindy as a nickname.
Rosamund sounds a bit too aristocratic for me. Rosalind is a bit more down to earth.

I prefer Rosamund, but both are nice! I say "rose-ah-mund" too. I don't like it said the other way (it sounds ugly to me).

I pronounce both of these with the rose- sound in the beginning, not Roz. Like you, I have recently been contradicted though. I don't know how you prefer Rosalind. But I do prefer Rosalind. I don't think the -mund ending is as attractive as -lind.

I prefer Rosalind, it sounds more elegant to me but neither of these is my favorite Rose-name, I love Rosalie best of them all.
I pronounce Rosamund the second way, Roz-uh-mund.
