Can Lottie be a nn for Scarlett?

I love the name Scarlett, but I don't like the nicknames Scar (yuck!) or Letty/Lettie. Would Lottie work as a nn for Scarlett? (not expecting, I just love baby names )

About Lettie...we have bad associations with Lettie in our family...

It's kinda cute, but not my style really.

Yeah, with a big stretch. Scarlett can be Scout, by the way.
