    How would you pronounce Anthea?

Would you pronounce Anthea ANN-thee(like sea)-uh or ahn-THAY-uh? I like the first way better but was wonder if one is more correct. Opinions on Anthea as a name also would be great. Thanks!

    Ann-thee-uh.

    I think it's a sweet name.

Anthea (spelled Antheia in Greek) is pronounced sort of like ahn-thee-ah. So An-thee-ah, of your two, is more correct. Antheia is a minor goddess of flowers and flowery wreaths.
