    Need an "R" middle name!

So I was thinking Russell, but I am set on the first name Knox and I'm not sure how well they go together, esp.with the last name. The last name is two syllables, ends in ert.

Suggestions on other "R" names that go well with Knox?

    Roderick
    Roger
    Robert
Richard (might sound too rhymey with the last name)
    Roland or Rolland
    Ronan
    Roan or Rowan
    Radley
    Radcliff
    Radnor
    Raeburn
    Randall

I'm thinking of older Anglo-Saxon names I guess... to me they seem to go well with a short, strong name like Knox.

    Knox Roderick
    Knox Roman
I am finding it hard to come up with middles for this, particularly b/c Knox sounds better as a middle to me and whenever I have tried to pair longer middles to a short boys name it has always been challenging.
    Do you like:
    Paxton
    Braxton
    Jackson/Jaxon
    Jacks
    Pax

I like a fair amount of names with the x sound, just not Knox unless it was as a middle or last name.
    Do you like Phoenix? Maddox?
