I vote nay, sorry. Naming a child Rapunzel is more akin to naming a child Cinderella than it is to Ariel or Jasmine or Merida.
    Mommy to...Maura Lucille

    I had a baby today, I would name him/her...
Patrick Donley or Brigid "Birdie" ???

BOYS: Seamus Arthur or Niall/Neil/Neal James
    GIRLS: ???

    I have to agree, Rapunzel is just not name material. That being said, Cinderella has been used throughout history, as shown by Elea of British Baby Names. (Sibling Spotlight for Cinderella - British Baby Names ). However, the usage does not necessarily make it a name. (Sparkal is a main example). Some underused princess names you might like are;

    Merida
    Aurora
    Ariella
    Fallon
    Genevieve
    Hadley
    Blair
    Ashlyn
    Kathleen
    Isla
    Janessa
    Annika
    Anneliese
    Erika
    Rosella
    Rosetta
    Odette
    Eleonora
    Cassandra
