    Too much?

So boys' names are pretty hard for me... I have a top three. Not five or ten, just three. August, Barnaby, and Luther.

Here's my dilemma. I have an SO whose last name throws me a curveball with two of the three names (we're not expecting or ttc, I'm just pondering). His ln sounds exactly like the word "belts", although it's spelled differently.

    So my question(s) are:
    1. Is Barnaby "Belts" too much alliteration? (I love alliteration and actually think this sort of sounds like a superhero name, but wdyt?)
and 2. Is August "Belts" too wordy? Is it too lispy? (I don't like any August variants like Augustus, Augustin, Augustine. Just August.)

All comments and suggestions are welcome. TIA!
    contemplating combos:
August David Dodge · August Henry Dodge · Barnaby Viggo Paul · Barnaby Atlas Paul
Leona Vesper Lynn · Vivian Lillie Revere · Florence Patricia Mae · Zelda Katherine Rose

Luther "Belts" and August "Belts" both sound nice to me.

Barnaby is not my favorite name but I have a soft spot for alliteration. Barnaby Belts sounds a little like a superhero or a cartoon character, but that's not a bad thing.

Actually the one I think presents the biggest problem is Luther. Luther Belts sounds like someone rushing/lisping t saying "looser belts". Not too terrible unless your kid ends up struggling with a weight issue.

Barnaby Belts is a lot of B's, probably too many for my personal taste because B is such an overpowering letter in my mind. However, I don't think this is something most people would even notice.

Likewise, I agree August Belts is a little wordy, but since I don't really see August as a possible adjective for the word belts it's not a huge problem to me. However, the "st" and "ts" endings are a little lispy.

I actually like Barnaby "Belts" the best of the three. It has issues for sure (it breaks the Nameberry rules), but not in ways that bother me.
