    Nora, Norah, or something else?

I've been thinking of naming my daughter Norah or Nora. Which spelling do you think is better? Or do you have other name suggestions? I tend to like pretty, classic girl names. Nothing trendy, nothing weird. Her middle name will be Laine.

    Thanks!

Nora/h Laine is precious! You can't go wrong here, so it comes down to preference. Norah gives off an older, biblical air, while Nora seems young and light.

I like Norah as a stand-alone name, it just seems more finished. Nora when it's a nickname for Honora, Eleanora, etc.
    Mommy to...Maura Lucille

    I had a baby today, I would name him/her...
    Patrick Donley or Brigid ???

BOYS: Seamus Arthur or Niall/Neil/Neal James
    GIRLS: ???

    Both are so lovely.
    Nora Laine
    Norah Laine

I think for me it'd depend on surname. My default is Nora.

I prefer Nora. The silent h seems such a waste but I also prefer Sara to Sarah and Hanna to Hannah.

    Nora Laine is lovely.
I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.
