Not even close! My mum likes popular names (she named me Sarah in 1984 when it was the #1 name in Australia), but I'm more interested in less common but still classical names. Although, she recently professed a love for Carlos, so I'm not sure what's going on there

My parents are what you call the classic-conscientious namers. They picked names like Maria, Elisabeth, Joseph, Matthew, Anna, and Benjamin. The most exotic name they chose was mine (yay!) but it is Renee, which happens to clash with the Bible names that they are so fond of, not to mention our Italian LN. Oh well : ) As for me, I can't quite pinpoint what my style is, but my signature says it all. And it probably was some sort of rebellion thing : )
