Alternative to Lincoln
I need a new name for my character (Lincoln). His brother's name is Zachariah, so it should go nicely with that. I want a strong classic. Something that sounds like it belongs to an adult, but not too familiar.
The character is tall and very muscly, almost bullish. He's around thirty years old. He has dark brown close shaved hair and hazel-green eyes. He's strong, stubborn, loyal, and big-brotherly. Any ideas? Thanks

I would look at names contemporary to Zachariah, so, names that would have been popular roughly 1800 through the Civil War but aren't common today. Biblical names were pretty popular. You could also use Lincoln's own life for naming inspiration.
Abraham (obvious choice)
Joseph (or Josephus for something more antique)
Edit: I don't know why these names aren't linkifying. Sorry!
