    I'd go with the more conventional Isaac, or Isaiah. You could use the same nn, Izzy.

    I love Isidore. I know a very handsome teen whose name is Hyperion Isidore and his friends call him Izzy. I think it's very cool and not pretentious at all. Isidore could also be Sid if you wanted a more boyish nickname.

    I like the nicknames Izzy and Sid but Isidore sounds too feminine to me to use for a boy.

    I know someone with the name Isidore who goes by Izzy. He's in his late 70's though, so it sounds very old fashioned to me.
