    Middle name for Malachi

I am totally in love with the name Malachi and have been for years. But my middle name choices always change.
    His nickname would be Kai.
I quite like the idea of a 'J' name for the middle so he could be MJ if he wanted.
    Some of my ideas were;

    Malachi Troy (after my father)
    Malachi James
    Malachi Saul
Malachi Nesta (big Bob Marley fan)

Any suggestions? They don't have to be biblical or begin with J.

    Thanks!!

    I adore the name Malachi!

Saul is an old favourite, I don't love Troy for itself but the sentimentality is cute and the one-syllable aspect sounds fine. I am anti-James unless there's a compelling family reason I just find it really bland and like Rose/Grace for girls. I do like the MJ idea okay, I have a number of AJ combos on my list for similar reasons.

    Malachi Jude or Malachi Judah
Malachi Joel (A lot less popular than James, not sure why)
    Malachi Jasper
Malachi Jethro - Jethro is cool in a hickster way, but might be too much with Malachi. I've only paired Jethro with NON-Biblical names in the past.
    Malachi August
    Malachi Hale
    Malachi Rhys
    Malachi Pax
    Malachi Piers
    Malachi Finn
    Malachi Rhett
    Malachi Joaquin - if the J middle doesn't need a J sound.

Thanks for your suggestions! Some lovely ideas.

Joel is actually my uncle's name. But I think my father would be a little dissappointed if I used his brother's name instead of his!
I like Malachi Pax and I like Cassius on it's own but probably not with Malachi.

I'm still stuck on Malachi Troy, but when I suggested it to my Mam she laughed and said it was 'common'! It upset me quite a lot.
