    Which Spelling Is More Elegant?

    There are quite a few names that I like that have multiple classic spellings, and I cannot choose a favourite. Which ones do you think are more elegant out of the sets?

    c) Isobel/Isabel/Isabelle
    d) Emelia/Emilia

    I generally find these spellings to be 'classier' or more elegant.

    b) Rosamund/Rosamond
    c) Isobel/Isabel/Isabelle
    d) Emelia/Emilia
    e) Merewyn/Merewen
    f) Bronwen/Bronwyn - Shouldn't use "wyn" for a girl. It's the Welsh boys spelling.
    g) Millicent/Melisande - both are fine one is English one is French.
    h) Annabel/Annabelle - less is more
    i) Juliet/Juliette - see Annabel
    j) Annaliese/Annalise - Anneliese - avoid using an "anal" beginning
    k) Collette/Colette

    Bronwen (the suffix wyn is grammatically masculine in Welsh, it's a Welsh name so I think you have to follow the rules)
