Thoughts on Caspian please?
I'm not expecting (just love names) and for boys I keep coming back to Caspian. I just love the imagery it gives me (yes, I love Narnia!) and I think it sounds so handsome and different. But is it too "out-there"? I would LOVE some feedback on this name! Do you like it? Do you think it's too 'tease-able'? Is it too pretentious? I would love some ideas for middle names, too. I've been considering Caspian Simes (Simes is my grandmother's maiden name) but I'm not really sure... I've also thought perhaps Caspian David (my father's first name)?
Thanks so much for any input!

I love Caspian! I'm not quite brave enough to use it up front, but I have considered it as a middle many times, and in fact, I seem to be leaning toward keeping Zane Alexander Caspian on my list at the moment. I think Caspian David works better (I like the balance of classic with quirky--with Caspian Simes, it's all quirk and no balance for me), but both are nice, and I like the significance of both David and Simes.

Chapter 1 is up! And an author's note! (Alas, don't get too excited.)

I like Caspian a lot. I think it's different and cool without being too trendy or too strange. I think you'd have to be a bit daring to use it, since it isn't the typical Michael, James, or Noah. But if I met a little boy named Caspian, I wouldn't think, "What a strange name, why would a mother name her child this?". I would be, "Wow, that's a cool name." The only problem I have is that I can't picture it on a grown man. A child, yes. A teen, yes. An adult? no. Grandparent, maybe. I like Caspian David. I would keep it on the list.Just another teenberry and writer, a lover of names

I love Caspian, it is one of my favourite names, its so handsome and has great imagery. It was a top contender for our 2nd son, and will probably be up again if we ever have a 3rd boy.
I like your Caspian David combo, as well as honouring your father, I like how the two names look next to one another, with the repetition of a & i.Leo Sebastian l Ronan Alexander
