I voted Harris, since I'm not a fan of very many -son names. But I like just Harry on its own.

    HARRISON

i am almost always for longer names because it gives your child OPTIONS.

in this case, it just gives him possibly a more grand full name and the nickname of Harris.

for other parents who think its smart to give their child a full name of a nickname like Effie, Bea, Izzy, Alfie, Gus, etc - while great nicknames i implore people to remember the three important name aspects in a persons life:

WHAT WILL A PERSON, SOMEONE ELSE (NOT YOU THE PARENT) WANT/NEED TO BE CALLED IN THESE 3 SITUATIONS:

    - a child: needs to be pronounceable and spell-able
    - a lover: what name is going to be called out during sex?
    - a employee: what name is going to be used by their boss to call them in for a possible promotion or is going on business cards & billboards?

i do not ignore the Rich Text toolbar provided me. i bold, italicize, enlarge, underline and CAPITALIZE for emphasis, individuality, and to capture attention among the endless Arial Standard Size Font that everyone else uses.
i am not screaming nor will i cosset you. i do this to highlight the most important aspect of my thoughts so they are not lost again in the never ending sea of tiny, black, tempered letters that make up forums everywhere.
~*~ i encourage you to do the same ~*~

I love Harris! Harrison seems a little tired. I don't like son names.
