    Opinions on Daniel Elliot

    Hi!
Yesterday I posted about Daniel Elliot Porter, but today I'm asking for opinions on just Daniel Elliot. I adore Daniel like crazy and I feel the same way about Elliot and would love to use it as a first name but as my names Eleanor/Ellie, I can't However I love Daniel Elliot, but what do you think?
    Thanks,
    Ellie xx

It's a nice name, but the back-to-back "el" sounds bother me a bit.

I have never been a big Daniel fan. I don't really have a reason. I know it is nice and traditional, but I don't love it. However, I adore Elliot! I think it is so handsome. Elliot Daniel would be great. Daniel Elliot as a combination is very nice though.

I like Daniel Elliot. The el El issue didn't jump out to me since the -el in Daniel is pronounced more like -ul (at least in my area) and the El in Elliot is pronounced like "elle". I don't think it's an issue phonetically, only if it bothered you visually. Again, I think Daniel Elliot is nice.
