Florence is pretty and it has grown on me. Wren/Ren is ok. Ora would be a nice nn.

I used to dislike the name Florence. It always sounded so "old lady" to me, but recently is has grown on me. I think a little girl named Florence is adorable...but I hate the nn Flo! I know you like Ren for a nn, but I'm afraid you wouldn't have much control over that at school. I think the other kids would shorten her name to Flo and it reminds me of that insurance commercial. I prefer Wren.

I like Florence better. I know Wren is popular on here but it feels to me like it's trying a bit too hard. Florence is lovely, classic but still feels interesting and you don't hear it everywhere.
