    Thank you for all the feedback so far -- this is great! And Ottilie, thanks so much for sharing the history of the name. I had no idea it had floral connections. That really makes me love it. Also, giinkies, those are great points about how Florence is primed for revival and may become kind of trendy.
    Not expecting, just planning and building lists!

    Renny :)

    Florence was my maternal grandfather's mother's name, my mother is a nurse and my name is a place name (Clare) so Florence ticks a lot of boxes for a girls name for me. I also thought of using Ren/Renny as a nickname.

    I'm not 100% convinced though, and my partner's not a fan; with other names we like better and the plan to only have 2 children its unlikely we'll be using it but I think for the right family its an adorable vintage choice.
