This or that? Similar names on my list

I have some names on my girls' list that kind of match another in sound, style, rhythm, etc.

Which is your pick for each pairing?

    Leonie or Leonora
    Ivy or Isla or Iris
    Edith or Elodie
    Lucia or Aurelia
    Aurora or Callista
    Beatrix or Imogen
Two pink lines means we're now planning and not just dreaming of names! First babe, due 4/17.

Mattias Leo, Leander James, Joakim Rhys, Macsen George
Arietta June, Leonora Pearl, Felicity Catherine, Elowen Mae

    1. Leonie by a long shot. I think it's beautiful and strong.
    2. Tough one, all are pretty but I prefer Isla. Although it seems to be rising in popularity?
    3. Elodie, definitely. It means marshflower, so I picture something beautiful growing from something ugly.
    4. This one is probably the hardest one for me. I love both! Prefer Lucia as a first and Aurelia as a middle.
    5. Callista is okay but Aurora is just so pretty, it definitely wins!
    6. Both are okay but neither are my favorite. Of the two I prefer Beatrix.

Leonie or Leonora - I like both, but I always choose the long form - you can always use the short form (Leonie) as a nickname later.
Ivy or Isla or Iris - I really, really dislike Ivy. It's an unattractive plant, name, and it's getting super popular. Isla I feel less strongly about, but similarly. Iris is awesome - a gorgeous flower, and the Greek goddess of rainbows.
Edith or Elodie - Elodie, because I don't like Edith, but I prefer Melodie.
Lucia or Aurelia - Aurelia is gorgeous, I've never loved Lucia. While Aurelia captures and intensifies the gorgeousness of Aurora, Lucia doesn't have the same sweet spunk of Lucy, maybe because of the emphases difference (LOO-see vs. loo-SEE-uh; the only Lucia I knew I had that prn., though there are at least three other legitimate ones, another issue with it for me).
Aurora or Callista - Calista just makes me think of the actress Flockhart. Callida is gorgeous, though.
Beatrix or Imogen - Both are pretty, but Beatrix's sound is lovelier.
Amedeo Enjolras Aristotle Leonardo Archer Olivier Mischa Liam Caspian Benedict Theodore Fitzwilliam
Rosalie Evangeline Mirabelle Ophelia Alice Elisabeth Stella Titania Artemis Cicely Margarethe Thalia Astrid
