Out of the names already suggested, I think Natalie, Sydney, and Linsey have the vibe you're looking for. Also Tayla, but spelled Taylor.

I agree with Taylor over Tayla, and I'll pick out Ruby and Lilly out of your list. I'd also use the Natalie and Robin spelling and maybe Brenda over Belinda. I think the key here is picking out a name that is immediately recognizable, with the most common spelling, and with a various popularity. Maybe you could look up the top 100 list of the year they're supposed to be born and go from there.

    Other possibilities:
    Isabelle
    Mary
    Jane
    Charlotte
Christine and its myriad of spellings / Kristen
    Kelly
    Kim
    Jenny/Jen
    Jessica
    Sarah
    Kathleen/Katherine/Kate
Nancy (maybe it's too 70's/80's though)
    Emily
    Holly
    Grace
Irene; Name lover in her twenties; single; Languages student by day, writer by night.

    Current favorites, not in order:
    Emily - Evelyn - Hadley - Alice - Emma - Olivia - Zoey - Greta - Eden - Jezebel - Zelda - Anna - Charlotte
    Ethan - Adam - William - Peter - Harvey - Galen - Kenneth - Kieran - Theo - Zander - Daniel - Ezra - Gabriel - Blake
