need suggestions for a non-Berry
I'm trying to help a family member name her little girl. She wants something classic and beautiful and ideally not trendy or too popular.
She dislikes the popularity of Emma and Emily, but likes them as names. She doesn't like Olivia, it doesn't have a pretty sound to it. She would consider Isabel if it weren't so popular.
The majority of the "typical" Berry names, like Beatrice or Josephine, would make her wrinkle her noise in disgust, because to her those are ugly names.
She's looking for something beautiful, maybe a little princessy, but probably not overly frilly. Something that people have definitely heard of as a name, but that they wouldn't hear on every other girl.
Goddess names like Athena are probably too weird for her.
Her husband has ruled out Genevieve, and she has ruled out all J-names.
She's liked Scarlett, Charlotte, Sophia, and Violet but none off them feels right and she feels there's something better out there that she just hasn't found yet.I hope to be a mom one day. For now I enjoy being a name lover.
My apologies for any typos; i post from my mobile phone.
