Odile is pretty, romantic and uncommon with an air of mystery. I also like the ballet connection even though Odile was the baddie and Odette was the good swan in Swan Lake .Dana is gender neutral and somewhat "dated" for me.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I'm assuming that Odile is pronounced oh-die-l with a long I sound. That makes me think of crocodiles. Wouldn't be my choice.

Dana is a strong name, if a little dated in the opinion of some. I prefer it between the 2 choices.

Odile is French so it's pronounced "oh-DEEL".
    All the best,

Good to know! But I think she'd be in for a lifetime of correcting people.
