I really like John Barnaby, called Barnaby. I love Barnaby myself. I'm not really a fan of Prosper, sorry.

Congrats on the birth of your son! I don't like the "John-Barn" sound in the combo John Barnaby so I vote for John Prosper. I like the look and sound of John Prosper much better and the fact that you're saying the names together is an added bonus.

FYI - I thought I recognized the name John Barnaby and then it came to me where I've heard it. I watch a TV detective series from England called "Midsomer Murders" and the inspector's name is John Barnaby.

My vote would be for John Barnaby if those are the only two options you're okay with, it sounds like you're not crazy about John if you are planning on calling your baby by his middle name, why not go with Barnaby John?
