    Arachne definitely came to mind for me, as well.

    Araignée means "spider" in French; its feminine, pretty sound and proximity to the ending of Renee make it passable as a character.


    Lilith came to mind; elegant and beautiful, but dark with her meaning ("night") and associations.

    Woops, yep, sorry. I think that was my first post this morning. I was probably still asleep.
