    Chiming in again my friend is a brit and her middle name is Megan and said Meg-an (rhyming with egg) while the other Megan's I've known are Mee-gan
    I think it just depends wherever you go.

    not to throw tinder into the fire but I've also heard
    Mee-gan. (Which totally blew my mind).

    I think I say Meg-en. (though there's no point in telling you where I currently live because that's not where I'm from and it's not a common name where I grew up so I have no idea what's "right" per say.)
