Edwin doesn't feel very timeless to me - I'm going to be the dissenting vote in saying that it sounds like an old man, and not in a good way. I like Alexander and has the feel you're looking for, though for me it's just a tad too popular. Nolan is great, though. I know of a sibset that's Nolan, Silas & Bryn (two boys and a girl) which I really like.

I love the name Alexander, it's my top pick for a boy. Yes, it is popular, but it's also a classic timeless name with a solid meaning. There are also a ton of nickname options.

Some other names I think are a similar style:

    Nicholas
    Benjamin
    Samuel
    Dominic
    Roman
    Nathaniel
    Theodore
