I used all Italian/Latin names for my daughters for my grandfather's full blooded Italian heritage, since I gave my firstborn son an Irish name after my grandmother's heritage. Ava, Mia, Gemma. I still love Roma, but I've been really in love with Stella lately. Bella is another favorite...Bella Francesca would be quite gorgeous.
Not so done having children after all. We're not ready for TTC quite yet but when we do get pregnant, the husband handed sole naming rights over to his name obsessed wife!

Anna-Rosa...it was the name of an extremely minor Italian character in one episode of Little House on the Prairie. I adore it. It sounds goofy with my very English last name, so I would love to see someone else use it. I also saw you mention Mattea once, and I have to say, I had never heard that name before but it stuck with me because it is so particularly beautiful. Is it pronounced ma-TAY-uh? That one gets my vote!

Thanks, Alzora! Yeah, Mattea has been on my list before. I came across that name when reading a newspaper article about Andrew Demetriou, head of the Australian Football League, and his beautifully named children: Alexandra, Francesca, Mattea and Sacha (boy). I wish I knew their middle names, too, but don't know how to find them out!
