    Too Seventies?

    I really love the name Heather do you guys think it's too eighties/seventies?

    Although nature names are in vogue, Heather is stuck in the 70-80's period so it's currently "dated". Personally, I knew far too many mean Heathers growing up to even suggest it to anyone. It may be another generation before she's revived again.

    I don't think it's that bad.
    My youngest sister's best friend is named Heather, and she's twelve.
    Maybe it's just where I'm from, but I know a lot of Heathers my age (early twenties) and younger.

    Well, it's definitely an 80's name, but it would depend on the kid. I think it could work depending on the family.
