    Roads to Theo?

I LOVE Theo, but Theodore makes me think of the chipmunk. The "dore" sound makes me think "adorable," which is awesome for a roly-poly baby, but I'd like something stronger sounding for an adult. I'd also like to avoid Ted. Just my own personal taste. I know we could just use Theo, which is a viable option, but I'd so love to find a fuller version.

I've yet to find a road to Theo that feels right. So far I've found:

    Theobald
    Theocritus
    Theoderic
    Theodoric
    Theodoros
    Theodosio (better, but very unwieldy)
    Theodotos
    Theon
Theophanes (love, but too heavy for the current naming climate)
    Theophilus (same as above)
    Theothelm

More of a departure, but would still work:

    Thelonius
    Theseus
Theron (which is growing on me)
    Theunis

    Are there any I'm missing?

Theoden - from Lord of the Rings. He was the king of Rohan.
Theodred - also found in LOTR, but this is a real name. Medieval, methinks.

I was going to suggestion Theon and Theron when I read the title but you already have them. Also these are my two favourite way to Theo.
