I have to vote against the foreign spelling name. I thought I knew how to pronounce it, but when I saw that others here had to look it up, I went and looked it up too -- and was wrong. Besides, Everett is one of my most favorite names ever -- especially with nn Rhett!

I would go with Everett, depending on where you live Cian, which I really like, could have prn. and spelling issues.

I really like both! Although I prefer Everett ever so slightly. Good luck!

Thanks again to everyone that has responded. Definitely confirmed my biggest concern of the pronunciation issues. Definitely something I will take into consideration more. I think Everett Cian would still allow us to call him Cian as a nickname but not impose the burden of people never knowing if he's a Sigh-ann or a See-an on the first day of school every year.
