Thread: Luther for a girl?
August 11th, 2013 04:50 PM #11
As a rule, I'm not opposed to boy names on girls as some Berries, but I think Luther on a girl is just bad. Bad. I agree with ou that it's a great name. It's on my boy list; I love it. But its just not a girls name. At all.
Your other names are nice. I particularly like Mabel and Eloise. I love Jemima, but if you live in the US, I'm not sure it's a good idea.
Some other names ou might like

It's not a girls' name, so no, it could not work for a girl. About as distinctly unfeminine as you could get.Amedeo - Enjolras - Dimitri - Victor - Leo - Nikolai - Mischa - Liam - Benedict - Milo - Frederick - Isaac - FitzwilliamRosaline - Mirabelle - Artemis - Piper - Coralie - Ophelia - Elisabeth - Titania - Elowen - Stella - Andromeda - Thalia - Astrid

Luther is a very harsh sounding boys name."Adopting one child won’t change the world: but for that child, the world will change." -- unknown
