    It's all right. I don't think it's dated to a particular age, at least not in my life. The Jason's I know are ages: 6, 21, and c. 30.

    It's not something I'd use but it's a nice name.

    I don't think it's too outdated. I've actually seen it mentioned a few times in birth announcements in the last year or two.

    I don't think it's outdated, I would call it a modern classic such as Ryan and Kyle. I think Jason is a nice, strong name and would fit in well with other current popular names while standing out.

    I mean Jason's a little dated in my opinion, but not unusable by any means! Jace could be a cool nick name he could use if he felt Jason was too dated. But it has a cool, tough guy feel Its a very solid choice.

    My problem with Jason is more personal. I have honestly only met mean Jason's. I know there are nice ones out there, but I have yet to meet them. Yes, I find it dated, but I have been hearing it more here lately.
