Nora Elise would be fine as a first and middle, but not a double first name IMO. It just doesn't flow well enough for that. Plus, they're both a little bland, so putting them together does nothing to spice up the name. Also, I do find double barreled names a bit country/southern sounding. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it sounds like that's not what you're going for. I would go with something like Honora, Eleanora, or Lenora (you could use Nora as a nn) rather than a double first name. A double first name and two last names is a bit much.

Nora Elise would be beautiful as a first and middle... and it's not too long.

I don't think Nora Elise is good as a double first name. As a first and middle, I think it's fine.

    Have you considered Nora Elisabeth?

You're all right, two names is probably silly.

Looking into middle names then. I appreciate all the suggestions!

I'm not a fan of double first names. It does come off very southern (Mary-Beth, Sammy-Joe, etc...)

If you were to do a double, you would want a single syllable name, so Elise doesn't work. Something like: Nora June, Nora Jane, Nora Beth would though.
