    I can't stand Emma, Emily, Ella, Olivia, Ava, Elizabeth, Victoria, Hannah, Sarah, Benjamin, Jacob, Henry, and Daniel.

    I love a lot of names that most people see as extremely clunky (Esther, Ursula/Ursuline, Helga; Cornelius, Hansel, Siegfried, Oswald) and some of these 'crazy' word/problematic/aggressive names (Sailor, Dixie, Jezebel, Beretta; Gunner, Heller, Killian). I also think Waldo and Floyd are really cool and I don't mind Sloane, that most Berries seem to hate with a passion.

    I don't see the appeal of many surname/invented/syllable 'mix and match' names, but neither do most other Berries. There are names that I dislike that are very 'Nameberry style', though, such as Wren, Nora, Julia; Lincoln, Caleb and Tristan.

    Dislike: Wren, Paisley, Jasper, Briony, Maisie

    I'm also in the camp that dislikes names chosen for machismo, such as Cannon, Gunner, etc. But I do not mind traditional names that happen to sound like violent words, like Cillian or Gunnar (pronounced the Swedish way). I also dislike names chosen for materialistic reasons: Prada (I've met one), Chanel, Porsche (Portia is fine), Bentley, etc.

    A lot of the names I like are either wildly hated or wildly loved:
    Vivienne (but I don't really like Vivian/Vivien/etc)
    Seymour
    Genevieve
    Wolfgang
    Jasper/Casper
    Sylvester
    Jack
    Penelope
    Augusta/August/Augustine (though I don't like Augustus for some reason)

    And I tend to dislike names that are so popular that they're boring, but I love names like Henry, William, Ryan, Olivia/Oliver, and Victoria.

    Some names that are really popular that I don't like:
    Clementine
    Neveah
    Aiden
    Bentley
    Liam (I know it's short for William, but I just don't like the sound)
    Emily
    Margaret/Maggie (don't like the sound + associated with someone I don't like)
    Caleb
    just another overly name-focused author
