Could I please have some opinions on the name Polly? Although its a tad nicknamey, I think its sweet and I like how it sounds with Amelie and Daisy. I'm not sure what name it could be short for, or if there is a longer version? The only one that comes to mind is Pollyanna but I think its a bit too twee!
I'm not pregnant, just collecting names.
Thanks in advance x

Meh, I've never been fond of the -olly names, really. Molly, Polly, Lolly... Holly is okay, but they all seem rather bland and boring, and Polly still sounds really dated to me. I don't see the cute factor to it. I do sort of like Paulina, though, and I think Polly could be a nn for that. Or even Penelope.Ashley | namenerd | Christian | storyteller
