I love the name Romina and have loved it ever since I was nine years old but I also really like Dixi and Gretchen for girls, but none of my boy name ideas are too rare

@augustalee- I do! That's an awesome list, thank you!

These are already on my long list:
    Marigold- love with nn Goldie
Thisbe- my husband's a classicist so he loves it but thinks it will be butchered by people who can't prn it
Circe- love even though our last name sounds like Sawnders so too much S sound
Augusta- so pretty but I'm trying to come up with a nn besides Gussie or Augie. Aggie too weird?

Odessa- going to ask my husband about this one
Margo- pretty but is it nicknamey on its own?
Seraphina- love this but I'm afraid it's too closely associated with Ben Affleck's daughter
Juno- would probably be on my list if it weren't for the movie
Saskia- like but it doesn't go with our last name because of all the S sounds
Lavender- love but would need to come up with a really good nickname
Violet- love, but worry about popularity because of V Affleck
Mabel- I considered this but think I prefer Maple
Valentine- love it prn valen-teen but people where I live wouldn't get it
Andromeda- so pretty, I just don't think it goes with Bay's name
Polly- my daughter so wants this to be her little sister's name thanks to Angelina Ballerina

@iamamiam I really love Marina (husband doesn't) and Verity. I don't know why but it's so difficult for me to like almost any boy names that flow with our S last name.

@emmeandelise I showed my daughter the Great Gatsby (Robert Redford version) recently and she wouldn't stop telling me we need to name our baby Gatsby! I can't tell if i's too much for me. Love Tiberius (Tiber is on our list), Echo (h would NEVER go for it), and Callum. I just wish I could come up with a nn for Callum that isn't Cal.

@sko is Mimi her full first name? I think that's darling on a little girl!

@clareelisabeth87 Romina is nice, I don't know that I've considered it before. It's like Ramona but more exotic or something.

Thanks, @tuitree! I especially love Thebe but don't know if people in OK would pronounce it correctly.
Albertine is pretty, I don't think I've seen it before. Alpheus is interesting, too. I keep seeing Yarrow and feel like I should like it, but something about it seems too much for me. It's prn yahr-ro, right?
