Dagny a name from Old Norse orgin and close to the Australian slang word "daggy" it is a put down here for a nerdy type, meaning unstylish and untrendy. All together a terrible association for a child to deal with.

We are just sitting here watching Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang, and there is the lovely Miss. Truly, and even the song! I like Truly. And Maeby, too...(an Arrested Development fan, admittedly). However, one to consider might be Jemima. She's the little girl in Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang, and then there's Jemima Puddleduck by Beatrix Potter, and Jem is such a cute nn for a girl! AND it's phonetic (isn't it? I doubt myself on that now, hee hee). From your new list I love Chessa - elegant but spunky! A bit daring, too. And I just watched Oh Brother Where Are't Thou? and the little baby in there is named Starla and I thought it was great when they said it. Starling, too! What about Quincy? Or Willaby? There's a Willaby Falls around here and it's gorgeous! Or Odessa. That fits very well in your sibset, imo. Another thought is Rosewen nn Wendy? Rosewen Shenandoah would be lovely! (And I quite like Shenandoah or Edelweiss as the middle name - swoon!)
