I love Julianna. Another option is Anneliese, which sounds very formal and grown-up.

I like a lot of previous suggestions like Anneliese and Arianne. Here are some ideas, though some may be kind of out there:

    Adriana
    Anastasia
Andromeda (kind of out there, but Andromeda nn Anna was used in the book My Sister's Keeper)
    Annabel
    Antonella
Ariadne (ends similarly to Annie, so I think it could work)
    Christiana
    Elianna / Elianne
    Georgiana
    Melisande
    Roxanne, Roxanna
    Tatiana
    Miriam ~ Helena ~ Estella ~ Beatrice ~ Anastasia ~ Alice ~ Marilla ~ Sarah
    Paul ~ Wesley ~ Walter ~ Edmund ~ Isaac ~ Abram ~ Gabriel

    Thanks for the lovely replies....
    My top two are still
Juliana followed by Mariana. I love the meanings New Grace or Sea of Grace.
As the dreamer we were wondering if the French spelling of Agnes is also different? BerryBry can you tell me more about Ananya? I have never heard that before.
So do Juliana and Mariana sound like name smooshes?
