    Laura or Lauren?

I can't decide which one I like better. Can you explain why you would choose one over the other? Middle name suggestions?

Absolutely Laura. Lauren sounds so 90s to me, as dated as Jessica and Danielle. Laura, on the other hand, is an underused classic with a strong history of use. The poet Petrarch had a muse named Laura, and Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote the Little House series.

Agree with pp. I do like the sound of Lauren, pleasant name, but Laura is far more classic and timeless.

If i had to choose between the two, Id pick Laura. But I really love Laurel. It has a similar sound but is very underused.
