    Thoughts on Bryson?

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this. Normally it wouldn't be a name I would go for, but my husband mentioned it and surprisingly, I don't mind it. I've always liked the name Brice but even that name feels a little too "trendy" to me. But Bryson goes even further. It has the y. It has the "son." I'm not even sure if it's a "real" name; although I know I've heard it before.

What are your thoughts on the name Bryson or even Brice for that matter?

I have to admit, I'm not a fan. Bryson sounds like a smoosh of dated Brian with the trendy -son ending. Brice is a frat boy name to me.

I don't mind Bryce. I know this is the variant spelling but it's the only way I've ever seen the name on real people. Brice just looks like the letter B thrown before rice.

    Bryson looks trendy.

Thanks. I feel better now. I'm over it. Temporary lapse in judgment!
