The Wonderfully Brave Girls
After going up and down my list a thousand times, we're only keeping Morgana as a first name. She's definitely the front runner (I can't imagine myself not having a daughter named Morgana), but it feels like a very specific name, so I do need backups. Husband has nixed Pandora (because she was man made) and Hespera (because "it doesn't feel serious enough, and she was silly").
My...Our new list is (Update here)
What do you think of these? Which one do you think we should choose? I'd ideally like a top five. I like it when the names feel different from each other.
If you have suggestions, they're more than welcome. We want names of women who were brave, interesting, funny, clever and magical (or some of these). I don't want names of treacherous women, women who couldn't think for themselves, silly women. Mythology, history, literature, folklore... all good sources. I'm not a big fan of Bible names (I know I have two there, but they were exceptional women), or names from contemporary history (I just prefer the ancient ones). And no Jane, please.

I'm glad you're keeping Morgana as I think she's a good choice to match Aphrodite's strength. I would avoid names that share the same "ee" ending (Nefertiti, Circe, Calliope etc...). Here are my top five choices (other than Morgana).
1 Guinevere (fave) - I love this name with Aphrodite. I like that the two names are mythological but from different cultures.
2 Zenobia - rare and exotic

Nefertiti (but I would ax it as a sister for Aphrodite; they're very similar sounding to my ear)
I would go with a top five consisting of Morgana, Guinevere (I'm loving her as a sister to Aphrodite!), Cleopatra, Zenobia, and Calliope.Proud mother to William "Liam" Balthazar and Catherine "Cate" Ophelia
Future Daughters: Isobel "Zoe" Theophania, Veronica "Vera" Seraphine
Future Sons: Alexander ?, Dominic "Nico" Valentine
Nicholas ~ William ~ Alexander ~ Sebastian ~ Gabriel ~ Benjamin ~ Dominic ~ Oliver ~ Crispin ~ Gregory
Zoe ~ Catherine ~ Veronica ~ Penelope ~ Elizabeth ~ Daphne ~ Anastasia ~ Seraphina ~ Ophelia ~ Felicity
