With Gracie, which I find to be a soft, sweet name, I don't think Alison or Whitney go well at all. Both have a harsh, dated feel to them - I would hear Gracie and Alison/Whitney and expect it to be daughter and mother, if I'm honest, because of the ages of all the Grace/Gracies and Alisons/Whitneys I know - most Grace/Gracies (bar one or two exceptions) I have come across are aged 10 or under, and all Alisons/Whitneys are in their 20s/30s or even 40s.

Molly and Lucy go well with Gracie - they have the same feel - but the matching -ee ending sound could tie you should you have a third girl. Something short, sweet and a bit nicknamey in sound would go well, I think.

    Gracie and Ella
    Gracie and Mia
    Gracie and Olivia
    Gracie and Leah
    Gracie and Jessica
    Gracie and Charlotte
    Gracie and Amber
    Gracie and Isla
Gracie and Georgia (if you don't mind repeating initials)
    Gracie and Amelia
    Gracie and Pippa
    Gracie and Megan
    Gracie and Ava

    Anna Katherine * Lydia Ellen * Zoe Madeleine * Phoebe ___ * Imogen ___ * Emilia ___
    Samuel * Thomas * Charlie * Reuben * Oliver * George

i'm really sorry that you had such a rude comment on your daughter's name. I love Gracie, i think its an excellent choice.

With Gracie, i like similarly sweet, vintage gems. My favourite from your list is Molly, and i absolutely love a previous suggestion of Clementine and Gracie! Another suggestion of Gracie and Juniper is amazing, but i'm a bit biased :-) How about:
    Sadie
    Lola
    Minnie
    Scarlett
    Pearl
    Martha
    Kitty
    Violet
    Belle
    Lucille
    Rosalie
    Ruby
    Clara
    Stella

Do you have any middle names in mind?

My second middle name is Grace, and my first middle name is Emily. But you seem to be less into popular names. But I would suggest on not using two names that end in ie/y.
    Gracie and Annabelle
    Gracie and Alice
    Gracie and Mira
    Gracie and Arianne
    Gracie and Penelope
    Teen Berry and author
My furry baby ~ Oliver Timothy James
    ~ Nora Ester Rose ~ Charlotte ~ Luna ~ Alice ~ Lillian ~ Elowen ~ Ella ~ Winter ~
    ~ Alexander Gideon Finnley ~ Henrik Fabian Chester ~ Edwin ~ Lucian ~ Remus ~ James ~ Nico ~

I think of Gracie as sweet, happy and light so I would look for names with a similar feel but different sound.

    Blythe
    Bliss
    Claire
    Eden
    Ella
    Iris
    Luna
    Maeve
I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.

I love Gracie! I think any traditional or classic names would be gorgeous. There are a lot of repeats here, but I like these with Gracie:

    Ruby
    Lucy
    Alice
    Clara
    Caroline
    Elizabeth
    Eliza
