This probably wasn't the best place to ask this... the Berries are mostly not fans of altered spellings or anything ridiculously creative. And just to add, I think Etta is great.

Ettasyn looks ridiculous -- like a name for a prescription wart cream or something. Edison is a boy's name. I like Etta on its own.

I know we are not very supportive of really out of the box thinking.
I tend to agree with others Etta is best.
    I also like
    Addison
    Ellen
    Edith
    Eden
    Elowen
    and
    Evelyn.

But I do like Etta. It makes me of At Last. I recommend listening to it.
I also tend to see Edison as a boy's name, but if you want it for a girl I would spell it Edison. I seem to pronounce them almost the same. Where I grew up we do tend to say d when we mean t if the letters are the middle of something. For example I sort of rhyme little with middle when I talk. My point is even with the alternate spelling you still have to worry about the nicknames you don't like. Just[/name_m] something to consider.

Ettasyn is awful. Stick with Etta.
