I'm totally name shopping in here. I really like Ellis and Estlin both.

So I think we're feeling Eamon... but maybe Aemon to avoid the likely mispronunciation of "ee-man" vs correct "Ay-men" or "Aim-en"
What do ya'll think of Aemon spelling? Non-traditional but seems more foolproof.
Twin boys March 2012. Lost Emmitt to SIDs 8/12. Sully is my light.
Spontaneous twins again Fall 2013! Boy/Girl this time!
Thinking: Ellis Ames & Reverie Rue OR Eamon Bran & Rowan Rue.

Reverie is kind of awful. If you're set on R names, how about Renee, Rosamund, Rosaline, Rebecca, Renata, Rachael, Ramona, Rhiannon, Rowena, Rosemary. If you like the sound of "Reverie", maybe these will have a sound you like:

    Sylvie
    Genevieve
    Aurelia
    Giselle
    Varina
    Calliope
    Sévérine
    Celestine
    Ludivine
    Mélisande
    Elodie
    Evangeline
    Eugénie

I think reverie is beautiful and unique. We don't go for traditional girly names dripping with lace and I think most people will agree that it is a lovely name... I definitely wouldn't want to name my daughter something with an accent--just comes off as fussy to me. Thanks though...

This thread was looking for options for my son's name though.

I love the name Reverie it's awesome! I just named my son Jristin and got a lot of slack over it. I think giving your child a unique name helps them to be an individual when they get older.
