I love Evelien but think that since you are in the US, it will become Evelyn, I am going to vote for Margreet which jumped right out at me.

    1) Margreet
    2) Thirza

I second the suggestion of Cornelia! There is a Dutch painting of six daughters of the Dr. Boissevain and one of those girls was named Maria Cornelia, I think. I also like the suggestion of Klazina - cute and pretty! What about Christien? Evelien Jacintha is very pretty from your suggestions! I love your children's names - they are gorgeous and unique!

Wow, thanks for all the feedback. I like some of the suggestions, and I'm a little surprised by the positive response to Evelien, which is probably close to the top for me. I thought the -lien would be a turn off. The main thing I worry about with this name is the easy nicknames. I really like Evie or even Lien (LEEN), but none of our other kids have nicknames (at least not based on their names...I call them Chicken, Buggy, and Squish on a regular basis ), so it might be strange if one did. Dh doesn't like Cornelia, which was my first choice.
