Brothers for Beatrix, Cordelia and Matilda

What are your thoughts on the names

Beatrix, Cordelia and Matilda as sisters, do they work? Are they all too clunky? Can you suggest softer middle names?

Also, brothers for the same style?

    Thanks!
    Beatrix - Mabel - Clementine - Matilda - Hazel - Tatiana - Ophelia - Isla

    Leopold - Julian - Jude - Alexander - Theodore - Oscar - Frederick

the two -a endings of Cordelia and Matilda is too repetitive.

a variation of Matilda is Maude - which i know - isnt as appealing, but its variation Maudlin i have fallen in love with, a great alternative to the overused Madeline and it has lots of olden charm

Cordelia seems to be an up and comer but dont think it will ever be trendy

Beatrix, Cordelia, Maudlin or even the common Madeline flows much better

I don't agree with the pp, Matilda and Cordelia do work as sisters.
And Maudlin has a terrible meaning - self pitying, weakly emotional, foolishly sentimental etc
They are names I would choose for girls but I have a different style for boys I think. I like Reuben, Griffin, Felix, Dexter, Merlin...
Brothers would also have longer names like Theodore, Alexander, Sebastian...like the names in your sig

I think some nice middles would be Beatrix Alessa, Cordelia Skye and Matilda Iris.

A brother to them could be Jameson Walter.

Beatrix, Cordelia and Matilda are great sister names! I think Matilda and Cordelia work fine together because one is -lia while the other is -da. They're different enough.

Middle suggestions (not quite sure what you mean by "soft," so I stuck to Berry favorites):

    Beatrix Isla
    Beatrix Ada
    Beatrix Alice
    Matilda Claire
    Matilda Renee
    Matilda Phoebe
    Cordelia Jane
    Cordelia Maeve
    Cordelia Belle

I also agree with the pp that most of the boys' names in your sig fit well with Matilda, Cordelia and Beatrix. Frederick and Theodore are particularly good in the set.

    More suggestions:
    Arthur
    August
    Benedict
    Edmund
    Richard
    Rupert
    Gwen
    College student, bookworm, terrible influence.
Owner of a cat: Minerva "Minnie"

    Current favorites:
    Belphoebe Cosima Sybella Ailsa Celia
    Prosper Finn August Malcolm Zephyr
