Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think it's adorable. But I would probably use it as a family nn, not as a full name."Mom" to two adorable puppies, Violet Annabelle Augusta & June Olivia Ottoline.

I love it, super cute. That said, we call my daughter Fritzie, soooooo.
I don't think it stands on its own too well, even though it has a lovely meaning. A nice compromise might be to go with an M name, and use Mitzi as a nickname.
I've also always been fond of Mimsy, an invented name by Lewis Carroll, also used in the science fiction short story by Lewis Padgett "Mimsy Were the Borogoves," which eventually became the very cute film, the Last Mimzy.

i don't hate it at all, but i do feel like it will be "cute" forever. i don't think of a dog like some people said. i think of maybe an adorable anime character or something. you could balance it out with a more serious middle name if she ends up wanting something more "business-like" later in life.
