I voted Elizabeth, but Audrey is not far behind. Elizabeth is popular, but it is a beautiful classic, and as you said, has so many fantastic nickname options! Plus, and I know I'm not the first one to say this, "popular" names now aren't all that popular.

I wouldn't worry about Audrey v. Aubrey- while Aubrey is trendy now, Audrey has been a well-known name for a long time.

IMO, Don't do Corinne just to call her Cora. They are two different names.

Camille is just nms, I agree that the meel ending isn't very pretty.

    Good luck!

I have always loved Corinne (IN not EEN), and it would be a lot higher on my list if it didn't sound dreadful with my last name. If you and your husband like-but-not-love it, how about Corin? Pronounced COR-in.
Current favorites: Olive, Louise/Louisa, Magdalene/Madeline, Phillipa, Talitha, Mallory, Blythe, Eliza, Mercy, Talia; Calvin, Charles, Gideon, Abram, Jude, Reuben, George, Reid, Clark, Holden.

Camille is sweet, doesn't sound like you love it though? Maybe you should try to find other ways to get to Mila?
I love Audrey, but hate Aubrey. I would never get the two confused. Audrey could also be called Audie.
I would go with Elizabeth if there is one specific nickname that you also love and plan to use. (My favorites are Libby and Eliza.) Otherwise, even though it is a beautiful classic, it does feel a bit uninspired, imo.
Corinne is very nice, but I agree with a pp that Cora is a different name. I would use Coralie or Coraline nn Cora, or else Cora plus a middle name that could produce a nickname, like Cora Lucille --> Cora Lou or Cora Bellamy --> Corabelle, or something less cheesy!
