Some of these are great ideas but they don't quite work for the character because I either have bad associations with them, they have other literary ties (like Ginny from Harry Potter for example), or they aren't quite right for the character (sorry, I'm picky). I might use them for some other key people. Anyway, from your ideas, here's what I'm liking:

    Iris or Ivy
    Camilla
    Juliana nn Julie/Julia
    Talia
    Helena
Eloise (still like it, but its not quite there)

Thoughts? Favorites? Any other names stand out you?

Not too big on Iris or Ivy
Would you use a nn for Camilla? Just curious.
For Juliana, I think the nn Julie works better than Julia for your character
    Talia is nice
How would you pronounce Helena? I've heard some say "Hell-EEN-Uh", and I've heard Helen-with-an-a "Hell-EN-ah", and "Hell-AYY-Nuh" Just curious, because I didn't think of that before suggesting it.
For Eloise, I think of Eloise at the Plaza, and while it's a good name, it's a hard association to shake, personally. Would you use a nn, Ellie, Lulu, or Lou? or would you stick with Eloise?

Throwing out more random names here:
    Moira
    Amelia
Some name with the nickname "Nell" or "Nella", or you could just go with Nell or Nella themselves, if you like them?

    Charlene
    Maureen
    Kady
    Hillary
    Meredith

    Nia/Pia/Gia/Tia/Lia/Any -ia names?

Suggesting my own name here xD : Abigail, nn "Abby" (Or Abi, or Abbey, or Abbey, etc.) or "Gail"
    Alice, nn "Al" or "Allie"?

Alrighty, so here is what I am thinking as of now. I am loving these suggestions, so thank you so much for all of them. Thoughts?

    Amelia
    Martha
    Betty (Elizabeth)
    Mallory
    June
    Julie
    Camilla
    Helena (hel-Ay-na)

My friend however, did suggest to me that it could be an interesting piece to the story if the character has a completely unusual/foreign name, because it could add to the desire for her to fit it? Not sure what everyone else thinks, but I certainley think its an intriguing idea, especially since it could be fun to find a unique/unusual name

Camilla and Amelia strike me a perfect. Short and sweet, a tad flirty and with a nice selection of nicknames.
I'm not feeling incredibly profound at the moment. Check back later.
