Exclamation Help me! Nickname & Middle name dilemma!

I need a middle name for Echo Jillians. I will not change either of those names, they are set in stone. I either want a short middle name, like Eve or Rae, that could be used as a nickname instead of Echo, or a long middle name with nickname potential. Like Anastasia, so instead of calling my character Echo, I can call her Ana, or Tasia, or something like that. I have one more request: I want a tough sounding nickname, not something girly and wimpy, like, I don't know, Ella. (Sorry to any Ellas out there)

I'll preface this by saying for most characters, middle names aren't all that important. Unless, of course, she goes by her middle name, I generally don't even bother to give my characters middle names.

She used to go by her middle name. Part of the story is that she used to be a really flamboyant, rebellious girl, but then she found something out (what she found out is not yet decided) and she turned into a mute, partially because of the shock. Afterwards, she was obedient and never hung out with her old friends. Now she goes by echo, but she used to go by her middle name. So her middle name should be sort of rebellious, to show how she used to be. I suppose I should've mentioned this in the first post, but oh well. Oops!
Thank you for your suggestions, I especially like Isis (nn Ice) and Briar.

I don't think Blythe would work for this character. Seeing as the meaning is carefree and lighthearted, it doesn't exactly fit the "rebellious" nature. But it is a really good name, and I have some other characters who need names, and Blythe is perfect for one of them. Thanks! And keep the ideas coming!
