Secret's Out: Little Britain Star's Baby Boy Finally Has A Name!

Funnyman David Walliams, former star of TV's "Little Britain" series and judge on "Britain's Got Talent" show had a baby boy way back in early May of this year with his Dutch-born model wife Lara Stone. He said he wanted to avoid the celebrity trend of choosing an unusual name for his child and instead wanted a "normal" name. He said he "felt it was a bit of a curse to be called Apple or Peaches". They kept the name a secret for a long time but I've now heard they've chosen to call their son the wonderful Old English name of Alfred. The diminuitive Alfie was No# 4 last year in England so it's nice to hear that someone is using the formal name. Congrats to the couple!
    All the best,
    Mischa.

Fantastic name. I really like Alfred and much prefer it to the usual celebrity rubbish. Walliams is a gem But I heard he'd called his son Alfred a while ago now- early last month? Perhaps it's taking a while for the news to spread

    I agree congratulations.
But I do think Peaches is a cute name... I may be alone on this one.
